Gregory Gaultier nedal unavenému Simonu Rösnerovi moc šancí. V prvním setu se Simon snažil, ale na Grega, který hrál v naprosté pohodě, nenašel žádnou zbraň. Ve druhém setu už byla německá jednička značně odevzdaná a Greg rychle vedl 2:0. Ve třetím se Simon ještě pokusil o zvrat, v začátku setu byl aktivní a držel vyrovnané skóre. V koncovce ale opět dominoval francouzský generál a po třech vítězných setech si odváží ze Švýcarska titul Gregory Gaultier.
