V letošním roce se koná v termínu 5. a 11. září 2016 Světová squashová univerziáda v Kuala Lumpuru v Malajsii. Tato akce je otevřená pro každého studenta ve věku mezi 17 až 27 let.
Hraje se soutěž jednotlivců (muži a ženy), po níž následuje soutěž smíšených družstev.
